Best Seedling Tree Tube in Terms of Growth and Survival

Tree Tube performance in the field exceeded the wildest expectations of the designers.  This is attested to by top performance in independent growth and survival tests against other tube-type shelters.

Heat Problem Solved with Vented Tree Tubes

Excessive heat retention is main problem with most other shelters.  Our tree tubes are made of a polyethylene material that has just the right color and density to promote good tree health.

Easy Installation

After planting the tree in accordance with proper tree planting directions, pound or press the stake into the ground at a distance from the tree equal to about one-half the diameter of the protector. Then slide the zip ties over the stake, while pushing the tube to the ground. Finally, pull the zip ties tight and your tree is protected.  We recommend using 1/2" White PVC or an Oak stake equal to the length of the tree tube.

Tree Tube Length Selection Guide

24” - Recommended for protection against rabbits & rodents.

48” - Recommended for protection against small livestock such as sheep and goats - not suitable for deer.

60”’ - Minimum height recommended for protection against deer.

Tree Tubes - Split Design

  • Rigid, single-wall design with a seam down one side

  • Tab flared top to protect seedling from sharp edges

  • Tube diameter of 4.15" (allows for connecting multiple protectors for larger diameter)

  • Available in standard lengths of 24", 48", and 60".  Contact us for different lengths.

  • Permanent venting to prevent overheating, the vents start half way up to allow herbicide spray around the base

  • Releasable UV treated zip Ties included

Easy Maintenance, Reuse & Protecting Large Trees

If you are planning to perform post planting maintenance, reuse your tree tubes or use them to protect large diameter trees this is the best selection for tree protection.  Our design is the most versatile in the industry.  It is a flat sheet that forms into a tube, allowing for multiple tubes to be chained together with zip ties to accommodate larger diameter trees and is easily removable for maintenance or for reuse on another tree.  Which can be a significant cost advantage over other tubes.  Our tubes have been used to protect evergreens, grape vines, strawberry, blueberry plants, and even tomato plants.
